Playing the name game is a fantastic way to introduce a lesson plan on the letter N. Kids can wear "Hello, my name is" name tags labeled with their name, sit in a circle, and play the name game. Musical Notes to Teach the Letter N

Display some sheet music for the class and ask if anyone knows what the markings are. Point out notes, which start with N. There are many different kinds of notes that look different, just as capital and lowercase N look different but are both Ns.

If possible, play an instrument and explain that each tone is the note they saw on the sheet music.
